It seems Aamir Khan's habit of perfection is spreading to his wife Kiran Rao. Kiran, who is all set with her directorial debut, Dhobi Ghaat didn't let hubby Aamir slide into his role just like that.
According to reports, Kiran wasn't too upbeat about having Aamir in her debut film, but Aamir was insistent and offered to do a screentest, and believe it or not, Kiran agreed! This may be the first time the producer of a film has auditioned for the director, but then again, Aamir is always doing the unexpected!
Before you wonder why all this fuss was made for a guest appearance, here's some news for you. Aamir's role in the film is a leading role, not a guest appearance. The husband-wife, or rather the actor-director duo decided to keep this under wraps as they wanted to highlight the other leading actor of the film - Prateik Babbar.
Prateik was last seen in Aamir's previous production venture, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa in a supporting role for which he won many accolades. Let's hope Aamir's push gives him what he needs to back his talent and be noticed in the industry.
