While the speculations about Kareena’s fixation with size zero are still on, it has now emerged that it is the mean pressure from her beau Saif that is keeping her uber lean. So, as some men like their women to be curvaceous, Chhote Nawab Saif prefers his lady to be dainty and trim. So much so is Saif obsessed with the lean look that a slight fluctuation in Bebo’s frame is enough to trigger his criticism.
Going back, one recalls that it was during ‘Tashan’ when Saif and Kareena started their romantic sojourn. Not to forget that at the time Kareena was at her thinnest best. And even though Saif might be fighting a mid-life crisis courtesy his bulging paunch, he doesn’t refrain from openly telling Bebo that she needs to ‘lose weight’.
It so happened that both the stars were present to perform at an award function. While the two performed together they also had separate numbers. And when Bebo came backstage after the performance, Saif openly stated that she looked overweight and needed to slim down.
Confirming the news a daily quoted a source as saying, “Saif told Kareena ‘I think you need to lose some weight, yaar’.”

Hirani said, “I wanted Kareena to look less glamorous. But, it was not easy. Since, Kareena is too glamorous without make up also. In order to make her look convincing, we decided to give her thick glasses to wear. To some extent we managed to bring down the glamour quotient. In hindsight, I would say that it was not an easy task to de-glam Kareena Kapoor in the film.” The movie will release on Dec 25th.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan says it is “ridiculous” to think that his mother and censor board chief Sharmila Tagore gave an ‘adult’ rating to Kaminey because it starred Shahid Kapoor.”It is ridiculous to state that anyone had any personal bias against Kaminey,” said Saif even as his own movie Kurbaan is about to release Friday with an ‘A’ certificate.”I know for sure that my mother is a great authority when it comes to the censors. It was insinuated that Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminey was given an ‘A’ rating – restricting viewership – as its lead actor Shahid was once in a relationship with Saif’s girlfriend Kareena Kapoor.But Saif said, “Any talk of personal enmity are completely fictional. I don’t even know the actual people involved who spread such rumours and frankly I don’t care. Such things don’t even enter my radar.”"It’s really rubbish if some people feel so. Recently Vivek Oberoi was asked of what kind of girl he wants in his life and he replied that she should be like his co-star Kareena Kapoor. “When this was told to Said in another press conference, all could see his face as he gave a very diplomat answer to it,” chirps the khabroo.
“He just said that, there is only one Kareena and nobody like her. Though his facial expression changed but some how Bebo managed to calm him down,” adds the source.

Bebo-Saif having small tiff over personal matter!
Kareena Kapoor will have to be extra careful next time she sends out an SMS to her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan.
At a recent media interaction, a Marathi news channel's (Star Majha) camera captured the contents of a private message Bebo was sending Saif. Unaware that a camera was zooming into her phone and catching the contents of her personal message, Bebo kept typing one SMS after another.
Bebo was seen sitting solo on a chair speedily texting Saif between sips of tea/coffee. However, the way she was holding her phone made it easy for the video camera of the news channel to capture what she had typed. Kareena was totally unaware that someone was zooming into her phone and recording the text messages.
After zooming in, it was clear that Kareena was reprimanding Saif in her message. Saif's text message to Bebo reads, "Sorry baby... was talking about your role only." In reply to his message, Bebo sends, "You were rude, Saif! I am hurt." It's clear that the two were having a small tiff over a certain personal matter.
A reporter from the channel says, "It accidentally happened that the camera zoomed into her phone. She was engrossed in typing the message, but soon realised that the camera guy was focusing on her message and told him to stop shooting. It was clear that the two had a tiff and Saif was trying to woo her by sending sweet messages. "

She is also sensitive and fun to work with.’Saif is proud about his lady’s selection of movies. ‘I think Kareena was brilliant in Jab We Met; she looked stunning in Kambakkht Ishq, which was a fun, masala film. I saw a rough print of Main aurr Mrs. Khanna, which I found sweet. I am no authority on films, but I think Bebo does all kinds of roles to cater to all kinds of audiences.
Now, she has equally different films like Kurbaan, 3 Idiots, the remake of Stepmom and Agent Vinod. So, she is always expanding her capabilities as an actress,’ he says proudly.Saif and Kareena are madly in love with each other. So, how does that help them on the sets? ‘I love working with Kareena and watching her on the sets. We know we are creating special moments in movies. We both are concerned about each other’s moods, as we are deeply involved with each other. On the other side, we do want space from each other. But “cold and depressing” is what Saif Ali Khan has to say about the US shoot of Kurbaan, speaking for not just himself but also girlfriend and co-star Kareena Kapoor.”Kurbaan was hard work. Period. In fact, the Philadelphia schedule was plain hell. It wasn’t anything like a picnic shooting for the film,” shudders Saif, who is glad that the film is complete and ready for release.
Saif says, “It gets dark there at 4 pm itself. Moreover, it’s so cold and at minus 10 degrees it can actually get really depressing. Since we were shooting in sync sound, it was extremely difficult to get the pitch and tone right while delivering our dialogues.”The film by Rensil D’Souza also stars Vivek Oberoi, Dia Mirza, Om Puri and Kirron Kher and will be released Nov 20.It was during the shoot of the film that Saif and Kareena got news of the terror attack in Mumbai last year. “Because of that, it was so difficult to concentrate onthe film’s shoot.
Thankfully, Bebo ( Kareena Kapoor) was there with me at that time but still both of us were very depressed,” says Saif.As it was quite cold in Philadelphia, Saif and Kareena were required to wear layers of clothing. Later, for continuity purpose, they had to wear the same clothes in the summer of Mumbai.
