Following closely in the heels of their Bollywood counterparts, Bhojpuri stars have lately found themselves at the centre of romantic controversies.
Recently, when Bhojpuri stars Vinay Anand and Monalisa went to a village in Bihar to shoot their film Jaade Mein Balma Pyara Lage, they were spotted kissing behind a tree.
Without thinking twice, the offended villagers rushed towards them in an attempt to break them up. Luckily, director Mukesh Goel (who was shooting from quite a distance), realised that something is disturbing his frame and called 'cut'.
It was then that the villagers realised that Vinay and Monalisa were only kissing as part of a scene.
While all was clarified, the lead actor was left shaken and it took him several minutes to stop feeling jittery. He said, "Well, I was just thinking, what would have happened, if it would not have been a shooting? I could easily see anger in the eyes of those villagers."
