Deepika Padukone has been the most sought-after actress in the industry for a while now. Having made her debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om only seemed to have furthered her status and now the actress’ brand image is also rolling quite high.
The brand ambassador for international brands like Maybelline, Pepsi, Levi’s, Wrigleys and Fiama Di Wills, Deepika has just recently became the face (or rather the wrist!) for renowned watch makers Tissot.
Having graced the covers of major fashion magazines right from Vogue to Elle, Cosmopolitan, L’Officiel and Marie Claire, Brand Deepika only seems to be heading straight for gold!
Deepika’s star status was furthered with men’s magazine Maxim voting her the “hottest girl on earth”. The actress is also creating quite a buzz abroad without even trying to put herself out there. Sources inform that The Fast and the Furious director Rob Cohen is so enamoured by Deepika that he was really keen on casting her in his next project. Sources further said that the director believes that Deepika could just be the new face of Indian cinema. If all goes well, Deepika will be India’s latest and the quickest entrant in Hollywood.
The actress is now looking forward to Love Aaj Kal opposite Saif Ali Khan.
