Celina's secretary Zayed Khan approached police at police headquarters in south Mumbai and lodged a complaint on behalf of the actress against a website which has morphed her pictures," Parag Desai, the actress's publicist, said.
"We hope police would take immediate action against those involved in morphing, uploading the pictures to malign her image," Desai said.
The pictures, which were morphed, had been clicked by a photographer during a photo shoot one-and-a-half year ago, Desai said.
"She had walked out from the shoot over some issue. The pictures were not returned to her by the photographer. Now the same pictures have been morphed and uploaded on the website," Desai said.
Meanwhile, Celina hoped that law will take its own course. "I will make sure that people who have harmed my dignity will be persecuted and I am sure the police will ensure that," the actress said.
"It's unfortunate that this is a price one has to pay for stardom," the former Miss India said. She said she lodged the complaint through her secretary and bodyguard because she was unable to meet the Police commissioner Hassan Gafoor as he had to leave for an urgent meeting.
