Ever since Bollywood’s ‘munnabhai’ entered the hallowed precincts of Indian politics, it seemed the hunk of an actor bid goodbye to tinsel town!
According to a close source, “There have been times when two films of the same actor have released at the same time. It’s probably for the first time that an actor will have three releases on the same day. But all three films are different. ‘Blue’ is a 100-crore spectacular with a number of underwater stunts. ‘All The Best’ is a laugh riot, while ‘Aladin’ is a fantasy.”
The news has been confirmed by all three producers and according to the official spokesman of Eros films, “It is true that we are releasing the film on Diwali, October 16. We don’t want to comment on other films, but we are definitely sticking to it.”
When enquired whether the directors are jittery over the same day releases, ‘All The Best’ director Rohit Shetty said, “We have planned a Diwali release as of now, but I am not aware of the release date of other films.”
‘Blue’ producer Ashtavinayak shared similar concerns and said, “We are aware of the other two releases, but we are surely releasing the movie on October 16. We can’t change that. We are very confident of what we have made. ‘Blue’ is our biggest film till date. The films are different and we hope that all of them do well at the Box Office.” Advertisement
