ust as a number of TV shows were getting ready to bid adieu to their child actors, there is some more news regarding children and TV shows.
The Maharashtra government has said that kids working on TV shows like Balika Vadhu and Maayaka counts as child labour, and therefore has decided to put a stop to this practice.
A list of shows with child actors has been drawn and shows like Sri Krishna, Balika Vadhu, Chhote Ustaad, Chak De Bachche, Maayaka are said to be the ones who will have to answer as to why this doesn't count as child labour.
Meanwhile, Nawab Malik, Labour Minister of the Maharashtra government said they will file cases tomorrow against eight producers for employing child artists.
Shows that are likely to hit are Sri Krishna, Balika Vadhu, Ba Bahu aur Baby, Chhote Ustad, Chak de Bacche, Chhota Packet Bada Dhamaka, Maayka and Uttran.
